As a Chemistry Teacher, I've never once seen a bright green acid. Sulfuric, Hydrochloric, Nitric...all clear.
I demand that all Acid pools be made indistinguishable from Water pools!!
Um, maybe the Free Agent Vendor can start selling pH kits along with his Healer kits.
I always thought Proof is in the Poison was too easy anyway... ;)

On a related note as a Geologist. Blue quartz? Blue? That goes right along side talk of stalagmites and stalactites in what was clearly a cave cut into sand stone, banded, and from the oxide colours aeolan in nature.

Thank God this is a fantasy game. I never seen anyone cast firewall, cast heal spells and blade barrier. I have never met an elf to please remove and fix those please to. This game should only be based on real life science!
Really? Just sit back and enjoy the ride.

No elves are cool. Big ears --> Bonus to Listen checks. See we can get Biological accuracy, but not geologic or chemical? Come on! Next thing you know the law of gravity will be messed with to **** off physicists (oh wait...)

I recommend the vendors sell us a **** load of baking soda, so we can turn the Black Dragon room in the Tor into the bestest science project volcano EVER.

I would love to see what the Stormreaver has to say to the physicist, or even meteorologist. :)

Just out of curiosity, when was the last time you summoned a cloud of acid with guestures, arcane words, and crushed black pearls?

This is nonsense, pure and simple.
Everyone knows you're supposed to use Bull Dung.

The acid pools in DDO aren't held in sterile glass beakers. They're in contact with earth, rock, etc. For example, scratch a gold or silver plated metal surface and drop nitric acid on it: it will turn bright green (if gold plated) or green (if silver plated). Many acids will also turn copper green, i.e. leave a penny overnight in a container of table salt + vinegar.
Just think of the acid pools in DDO being full of metal oxides and salts.
Observe the green acid pool IRL, here:

Yes that's quite true.
Fine! *pouts*
But could you just imagine how hilarious it would be if someone dove into a big pool of water that wasn't water?

Not a bad idea. They made them colored on purpose, though. With those unlabeled vials, noobs will just go around tasting stuff, and before you know it, we've got stacks of stinking, melted noob corpses littering the streets of Eberron.

And here I thought this was going to be a petition for an alchemical ritual to add Seeker +1 to weapons.
Huh, guess not.

Magic in this game just doesn't function the same way as in the real world. This is completely unacceptable.
Furthermore, as a biologist, I find it totally irrational that kobolds can jump that far backwards. Please change their ability to be consistent with current zoological theories regarding kobold kineto-physiology by changing their jumps to be purely vertical, and of course with 3.481 times the current maximum height.
Also, +1 for the good laugh.

Holy Cow, I never even thought of that. You're so right! They have the weird bird ankle for a knee thing going on.
See this thread is getting quite educational.
Which was...uh....my goal all along. ;)

They didn't say what acid and Eberron doesn't say if their periodic table is the same as ours ;)

As a Zoologist in Australia, the game's depiction of spiders are absolutely wrong. They should be bigger, with larger fangs, with Frikin LASER BEAMS ATTACHED TO THEIR HEADS...
