With the upcoming TWF nerf [resisting urge to nerd rage about this in this thread], I will probably need to reincarnate.
However, reading how this all works, I think I might be pretty screwed.
Currently level 13.
Level Progression (C1=class 1, C2 = class 2, C3 = class 3):
C1(1)
C2(1)
C1(2)
C3(1)
C3(2)
C3(3)
C3(4)
C3(5)
C3(6)
C1(3)
C1(4)
C1(5)
C1(6)
So levels in class-1/class-2/class-3 are 6/1/6
As I understand, it matters what levels you took when.
I basically want to change out Class 3 for another class (say class 4).
Since you can only have 3 classes, and I can't change class 3 in one go, I need to change class 2 (which I actually want to keep), and dump remainder of class 3 in to the new replacement class 4, and *then* reintroduce class 2?
In other words, I have to do this (* indicates a class change):
Reincarnate #1 (+3 LHW)
C1(1)
C4(1)*
C1(2)
C4(2)*
C4(3)*
C3(1)
C3(2)
C3(3)
C3(4)
C1(3)
C1(4)
C1(5)
C1(6)
Reincarnate #2 (+3 LHW)
C1(1)
C4(1)
C1(2)
C4(2)
C4(3)
C4(4)*
C4(5)*
C4(6)*
C3(4)
C1(3)
C1(4)
C1(5)
C1(6)
Reincarnate #3 (+1 LHW)
C1(1)
C4(1)
C1(2)
C4(2)
C4(3)
C4(4)
C4(5)
C4(6)
C2(1)*
C1(3)
C1(4)
C1(5)
C1(6)
So final is Class-1/Class-2/Class-4 as level 6/1/6 (effectively replacing class 3 with class 4)...
Do I understand the process correctly? i.e. is this the best way to go about this conversion?
I read somewhere that in order to add a new class, it *must* be taken at character level 1? Is that true? (then the above wouldn't work, I'd have to do even more swapping around), or can I replace that one level with a new class even though it was taken at character level 2?
If this is how I have to do it, there better be a friggin' serious sale in the DDO Store on LHW +3 to accommodate their nerf that seriously screws with people's builds when it's bloody near impossible for people to change their character to deal with it.
