Do I get xp even if I dont fo?

Will I get experience points if I die at the end of the quest, was somewhere where no one could raise me or get me to shrine, and the group finished the quest and left the dungeon? IE: I cannot finish out dead.

EXP is awarded when the objective is reached, even if you are roadkill at the time. So as long as you are still in the instance, yes, you get the exp.

As mentioned, yes you do get exp even if dead. However, if the rest of the party opens a chest while you are dead (or outside of quest) there will not be any treasure in there for you. (Assume you get raised or reenter and check).

State of living doesn't matter when it comes to chest loot.

If you are not in the quest, and the chest is open, you get nothing.
If you are in the quest, dead or alive, you get stuff in the chest.

Actually you are incorrect.....on part of this.

If your out of the quest when its opened you get nothing.
You can be dead and it get opened...then recall or get raised, come back in or walk over to it (as long as some holds the quest instance open by staying in it). you will get the loot.


Thus i think why the poster above me ? you about "1 year of play" this mechanic should be well understood by then.
