I've only recently started playing DDO and am very much a newbie, so please forgive me if there is something simple I am missing entirely, or even if this is not the correct place to ask this.

I have found that you can get 32 points buy instead of the regular 28 points by purchasing it in the store. I used my card to buy some turbine points which are more than enough to cover the cost, but when i try to purchase it, the buy button is greyed out and it tells me that I can only buy it once and that I have already purchased it?

I still have the full total of turbine points unspent, and nothing shows up in the section of things i have already purchased.

I've tried logging out, quitting and restarting the computer to see if it was just a one off, but to no avail.

If it makes a difference I'm on Cannith, using the low res version of the game running on Windows XP 64bit

Thanks for any help you can give.

How odd.

Try and create a new (non Drow) character. Let us know how many ability points it says you can distribute in the upper left quadrant of the character creaton screen when setting the ability scores of that character.

I've found the issue, apparently its only available once you leave Korthos island.

Once in the first town past korthos I was able to purchase it and can now make 32 point chars.

thanks for the help
