Spell Damage Math!

I need help guys! I don't understand when what comes into affect and how exactly it works but I'd love to see the proper formula for it.. Okay here's the situation:

Two spells. Spell "A" is a lvl 2 spell, pretend it does 42 damage 24/7.

Spell "B" is a lvl 8 spell, pretend it does 70 damage 24/7.

With Maximize, Empower, and a Superior Potency item on for Spell A, how much damage will it do?

How much damage would Spell "B" do with Maximize, Empower, but NO Superior Potency? What about with it? (ie: Efficacy)

(Note: Superior Potency only works on lvl 6 and lower spells. Efficacy goes to lvl 9 but it's a clicky.)

max- double.
empower = 50%..
sup pot = 50%..

all together +200% dmg or 300% dmg.. so.. triple dmg with everything on your lvl 6 spell and below.. 250% above that..
enhancements also play into it.. but you didnt ask for it.. so i assume you dont need it

I'd actually been curious about the way these things get multiplied/added together.

According to Sirgog (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=252161), the metamagic feats stack with each other additively, and then stack with your potency item multiplicatively for healing, but probably applies the same way for all spells.

Meaning you'd have:
42 (base) * (+50% from Empower and +100% from Maximize for 150% [2.5]) * 40% [1.4](superior potency) = 147
