This contest will be open toanyone except for DDOcast contributors, and will require that youdownload the U.S. client for Dungeons and Dragons Online.* Otherwise,be the first person to use the emote /kneel in front of the person whosename will be revealed, on the right server and at the right time anddate and you'll win this:

*European Serverplayers who wish to have their Turbine Point winnings exchanged for agame time card will be able to do so. The intent is not to take playersaway from any particular server or service, but for simple logisticreasons. The exchange offer is for European server players only, as Idon't have the money for U.S. game time cards as well. The use of theemote /kneel while targeting the proper person is to deal with anysituations in which multiple players show up at once. In that case, thefirst /emote listed in the social panel will be used to determine thewinner.

Oh, man Jerry - total fail on the poster contest....

It's come to my attention that I didn't play by my own rules. I had some issues in that there were a lot more people who were waiting for me than I expected, and in the chaos of trying to figure out what was going on I ended up being in Instance 2 of the Harbor without noticing it....

However, in my OWN RULES I stated that if there was any question I'd be in Instance 1.

Fail, Jerry, fail...

So, now what to do?!? I've been thinking about this and have come up with a solution that hopefully will solve any lingering unhappiness on the part of the show's justifiably upset would-be winners...

I've got a second signed poster. Yup! I'll now be giving that away as a mea culpa.

Here's how it will work: I will give away the poster in a random drawing that will take place during Episode 172 of DDOcast. This time I'll make it easy - just send an email to ddocast@gmail.com with a subject line of Poster Contest Entry and I'll add you to the list. The winner will be chosen at random. U.S. and European server players are both eligible.

Oh well, what can you do? I wish I'd been more on the ball on it at the end, I tried - what can I say? I apologize for screwing it up.

3 Weeks of script, editing, puzzles. I was looking forward to each week's additional clues to figure it out.

I think we all understand that you did all this in your free time, without payment, etc. and I'm happy to see that nobody's beating you up about this because it was still fun to figure out. I'm sure you're probably being pretty hard on yourself, but don't let it worry you.

But.... I have to admit... I think I'm looking forward to this weekends podcast more than any other in recent memory. :)

Just to clarify, I'll be giving away the poster on Episode 172, which isn't this weekend but the weekend after this. Reason is I'm out of town this weekend (leaving for Ohio tonight), so I needed a bit more time to gather submissions and such. I have a "mini-show" for this weekend.
