I understand that Glancing Blows are dealt when attacking with a two-handed weapon. And it's additional damage to bystanding monsters.
How does the base attack bonus play a role in that?
Wha exact benefit is given by the THF feat line?
How is the damage of glancing blows calculated?

The wiki has answers to at least some of these questions. Though probably not all of them (I'm not sure).
BAB mostly plays a role:
- to define your attack sequence in the early levels, which has an impact on when glancing blows occur
- to modify your to-hit roll (including glancing blows)

http://ddowiki.com/page/Glancing_blow and its links cover all these.
