Eladrin posted some in multiple places; for example here (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?&postid=3003773#post3003773) if you are not caught up.

Overall impression:

Really? You all spent this much time**, turning mediocre items, into slightly more mediocre items?

I was really hoping we had gotten past the point of release notes containing 90% changes that are meaningless in all senses of the word; except for the waste of dev time. Apparently not. /sigh.

**"this much" can equal 5 minutes for all I care the point still stands IMO

PS If what I am saying is unclear, let me elaborate. Most of these items WERE garbage. Most of them are STILL garbage. Thanks for the big list to show your bosses to make it look like you did something useful at work today.

And apologies for the... less than polite presentation; but this MOD so far is more annoying than any we have seen in a while i.e. it is showing that the folks making the command decisions are absolutely clueless on anything anyone actually cares about.

Edit: For the record; most of the changes others are whining about (TWF for example) don't bother me much at all; in their current inclination. I think the nerf to THF is far more detrimental (which goes against the whole idea of them attempting to "balance" the two styles; but appears to be true).

I actually really appreciate what they did to these items, I'm really excited about the new wolf whistle and all these little changes to these desert items. Sorry if a cat ****ed in your cereals but i love this update :>

Can you list more items than wolf whistle you are pleased with? Only one i noted (spiked turban); and please note that I used words like 'most' rather than 'all' deliberately. Percentage-wise, how many of these changed items would you use? and better question, how many are worth the grind? I might be off base; I didn't study them in depth; but I would like more than one example before I throw in with the other side :D

The demon sands pack being my favorite questing area, I really don't mind the grind, i enjoy it actually. Anyway here's what I'm interested in and why:

Bracers of the Demon's Consort: Upgrade skill bonuses to +15. -) Buffing something I'd previously want, Sure! Now i want it badly.

Duskheart: Upgrade Death Ward to Mass Death Ward. -) My new Death ward clicky will now help my whole group!

Green Blade: Upgrade Lesser Potency IX to Potency IX. -) Buffing another item i wanted! woohoo

Sirocco: Add Air Guard and Smoke Screen. Telekinetic upgraded to Epic Telekinetic. -) It looks delicious now, epic telekinetic ftw!

Staff of Arcane Power: Upgrade Recharge to 10/day. Add Archmagi. Add Arcane Augmentation IX. Add Colorless Augment Slot. Add Exclusive. -) I would grind for it with it's old stats, now i want it badly, more recharges makes me happy!

Staff of Inner Sight: Upgrade +1 Spell Focus Mastery to +2 Spell Focus Mastery. -) When i need DCs i just wear this one!

Wolf Whistle: Upgrade skill bonuses to +15. Replace Charm Canine with Summon Epic Thaarak Hound 1x/day. -) Do i really have to say anything about this :>?

I can't say anything about the non-caster items since i haven't really looked at them as i don't play non-casters much. If i had to choose between keeping the Epic spellstoring ring the same or buffing only the items I've mentioned above, I'd pick the buffs. Seriously cannot wait for this update, started playing again from a long break and can't wait to farm in demon sands :D

*snip*

I had actually been waiting for the update for the items. Some comments about your comments Natulyre though.

Staff of Inner Sight: I'm not too worried about this item, I see Napkin having similar stats to it upon release.

Staff of Arcane Power: This one I'm surprised most people are focusing on the number of charges. What interests me more is the "Arcane Augmentation IX" +2 caster level for all spells. That plus the Greater Arcane Lore on Blue Dragonscale which will eventually be epic dragonscale might be very decent combination.

Some of the items are decent for different things. Tanks could get Ring of Baphomet +2 Exceptional Str, +2 Exceptional Con, +15 Intimidate, -1 Wis, -1 Cha, Bestow Curse clickie. Epic Thornlord going up to +8. They fixed the bracers from Sentinel up a bit. Keen Mirage will have like a 13-20 crit range, if only it's other abilities on it were better like a burst or something.

I'd much rather have epic winter wolf (from VoN1) than a Tharaak Hound...it'll spend half the time casting PK on monsters with epic death ward.

Scirroco got one hell of a buffing...2 tier3 greensteel effects? Hello.
