1000th post and lessons learned

For my 1000th post, I thought I would share some nuggets of insight that my fellow forumites have reminded me are too true.

When reading/writing on the Khyber forums... He who laughs last, thinks the slowest.

For my guildies... You will always be my friends, you know too much.

Veteran players... We the willing led by the unknowing are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done so much with so little for so long, we are now qualified to do anything with nothing.

In-game jerks... It's not PMS, it's you.

Noobs on Haste.. Watching stupid things being done faster and with more energy.

Forum Trolls... You're stupid. Luckily, that amuses me.

Playing a capped cleric.... That which does not kill me had better run pretty **** fast.

And finally, to all the uber l33ters out there... I don't care if you lick the windows, take the "special" bus or occassionally pee on yourself. You hang in there sunshine, you're friggin' special.

FWIW... which isn't much- This picture is from a book I had in the 80's entitled, "Gnomes" by Wil Huygen and Rien Poortvilet. It may actually be what got me interested in D&D/fantasy to begin with.
