I have removed the 36pt human I had planned out, which I won't be able to make until they allow me to change alignment on reincarnates. (or i level my build becoming obsolete as of U5 to 20 and tr again....)

Caveats: 6 points left unspent to save room for ninja spy 1/2, for 34/36 I would increase starting str although the dps impact will be minimal
Build Highlights:
Unarmed DPS: with 12 monk levels, t2 wind stance and t2 earth/wind strikes this build should provide very solid handwrap damage to mobs with fort, also take into account monk pastlife and rogue haste boost and your boss dps with devouts should be on par with the best.

Sneak Attacks: from levels/enhancements alone this character is looking at a respectable 7d6+15 sneak damage, with handwrap speed this is going to ammount to alot. This build also fits in alot of + to hit bonuses from faithful hound, sneak accuracy, and halfling cunning.

To Hit: I know from being a str monk that without extreme gear levels to hit in epic can be a PITA, i've heard that rogues have it even worse. Being dex based on this character, with faithful hound 2, and sneak attack training 2, and halfling cunning 3, should really help alleviate the to hit issues, IF aggro becomes an issue and you are losing flank bonus there is room in there for subtlety; honestly if I start peeling off of frenzied berserker's then some sort of bizarro world **** is going on.

Shortswords: I havent done the math on this but i'm pretty sure DW radiance shortswords is going to be the go to method for trash killing, shortswords add alot of versatility to the build by way of greensteel without requiring any wasted pre-reqs. I believe radiance SS will provide top notch dps to 0fort trash and i need to math it out but lit2's may be better dps than wraps on 0fort bosses.

Skills: Build will have full rogue skills and a solid umd for no fail heal scrolls etc.

Versatility: this build will have amazing saves with evasion, solid AC for leveling content, handwraps for great damage on mobs with fort, SS's for damage on mobs without, full trap skills, umd, and ToD for popping squishymobs and contribution to dps/burst dps.

Help me: There are alot of questions I have in mind about this build, one large question is the last level, I honestly didnt see too much that monk13 and rog8 added but also didnt want any of the ftr1 class feats so i'm sort of on the fence here. I need to figure out if lit2 ss's will outdps handwraps on 0fort bosses, and if its worth crafting radiance2 ss's for trash. My enhancements have alot of room for flexibility and any alternate suggestions I am more than open to.

p.s. build is planned for +2 tomes but not 3 or 4 yet because i'll be tring as soon as i hit 20 not waiting.

For your last level, if STWF is added, you could always take 1Fighter and grab STWF.

The level splits come down to either diamond soul or improved uncanny dodge. If you have played a rogue and know that you will use IUD properly, then 12/8 is probably best. If however you find that you tend to forget it a lot, or not use it at the best times, then I would go 13/7.

If you are 50/50 then maybe the extra 2 hp's from 13/7 will help ;)

would you fight with weapons mostly or h2h?

Updated for 32pt halfling build which I believe is more refined and solid, for 34 i'd add 2charisma for 36 i'd add 2str. As for the question about weapons/handwraps honestly they are both going to be effective, without a monk pastlife I'll most likely be using a couple radiance 2 shortswords for trash but handwrap speed + sneak attacks is quite devastating and I expect them to be the go to option for most boss fights especially mobs with fort. The great thing about ninja spy PRE is you can spec for typical HW (ic bludgeon etc) and still get full bonuses out of shortswords without being pidgeonholed into using them.

i do not have GS shortswords and to be honest not goign to crafting them but I heard Garos is pretty close dps wise so I'm planning to dual wield them at times, but the main form of attack will be Handwraps, I was thinking maybe I should stay pure for the chance that ninja spy 3 gets out and we get what I assume will be an extra 3d6, but then the haste boost and SA with the damage enhancements Is just to much to pass up, also half orc gives extra uses of Haste which means I'll be a HO and I think add a fighter level for the feat and 15 haste.

Edit: oops multiple tabs opened, I made a thread about Monk Rogue and confused this thread as mine and Tranced reply to a reply with my post.

My current main is my 12 Monk, 7 rogue 1 fighter Halfling as shamelessly posted here http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=263735

If I rolled this toon again, I'd probably drop halfling for half-elf or warforged. This build is very tight on enhancements and the Halfling Racials for SA is just too expensive IMO.

Stats: Drop dex by 2 and grab a +2 book and drop Int by 4 (use a +2 book). I'm finding at lvl 20 that I could do most of the trap monkeying with a 12 int with little problems.

Toughness vs Dragonmarks: With the single fighter level, I was able to take the 3 Dragon marks and get the Halfling Heal which has been a saver on may occassions.
