heya guys,
quick question: does cleric need the skill Heal to heal teammates with 1hp when the die?
cause i dont see this skill on tihocan guide.
edit:
another question: whats the point with cure light wounds over inflict light wounds? i see inflict can both hurt enemy and cure friend as cure only cure (with same amount and cost of inflict).
Thanks :)

the healskil is only useful for 2 things:
a) it determines how much hp you get back when shrining and
b) it lets you bring an incapped char (between 0 and -9hp) back to life
cause of those 2 reasons its one of the 3 most useless skills of ddo and even more for a cleric as they can just dumb all their sp befor shrining and a simple cure spells brings incapped ppl backto life too

just saw your edit:
what makes you think that inflict spells heal your allies too?
it doesnt unless they are undead
cure xxx wounds = positive energy
inflict xxx wounds = negative energy
positive energy heals anything living and damages the undead
negative energy heals the undead and damages the living

There is an eternal wand of cure minor wounds as an end reward from the catacombs series. Heals 1 (sometimes 2) hp a use, recharges over time. 1hp of healing stops bleeding.
