should i choose for my custom AA?

i have no idea what too choose. if i remember right doesnt alignment have too do with what quests you are able too do? does it affect stats at all?

Use Magic Device, it's a skill.

Best thing I'd suggest is to make sure you don't exclude other classes you're likely to splash in such as monk or pally so go for either LG or LN.

LG, you want to be able to use good aligned bows and there are some defensive items that require you to be lawful, namely chaosguarde.

UMD is a cross-class skill for rangers, thus you aren't likely to get enough skill points in it to make it that useful.
