Things to make DDO better and/or more enjoyable.

Hello peeps you probably remember me from my thread earlier this week. :D I hope this one is just as succesfull but not as offensive to read(Fingers Crossed). So it seems that a day doesn't go by that there isn't a discussion in general chat about how DDO can improve this or that and how it would be awesome if they added this so here is the thread for it. I would like the ever famous Khyberian forum trolls(You know who you are);) to share thier ideas about how DDO can better itself. Below are a few things that I think might help.


1. Auction House Keyword Search
2. Guild Banking System
3. Fix the lag issues that occur frequently in Shroud, The Subterrean, and multiple other areas.


NOTE: I do not have the power to make any of this happen but maybe if we all stand up and shout it might get done (Yea Right).


I'm sure there is more that you guys can think of so you can either vote for one of the forementioned ones or add some more. Have fun and good luck.

Want a guild bank tab?
Roll a FTP account and run up Coin lords/House k favor.
You now have 300 slots for all your guilds garbage!

Auction keywords?
Meh, you know the old saying:
'If it ain't broke don't break it'?
That's what would happen.

However, it would be nice if they would remove the stupid recipes from the ingredients list.
Maybe just add new headings for the things that make existing pages a mess to view.


The stainer part I won't touch.
If you ban Stainer, I would likely /ragequit + /pceject2ndstorywindow
One of the best Ive met since '06.


Now, If they really wish to improve DDO they should begin by removing all battle clerics and melee focused fvs (especially the crappy WF models).
That would make DDO perfect. :)

Request #1. Be lucky we have an auction house :P. The game did not start with one. I would love to see a search engine applied to the auction, but it has not changed in 3 years.

Request #2. I would like to think that the guild bank will be attached to the new guild houses I read about. I know in LOTR, you can give friends and guild mate permission to add/take things out of the guild bank. I guess we will wait and see.

Request #3. Add more dragons encounters. I would love to see a random encounter that can happen in ANY slayer area. I big red or black dragon’s descents from the skies and attacks :P. (Hey you wanted our request.)

Glad I am not one of those trolls you mention...:D

1 and 2 are supposedly coming, but it's one of those cases where we'll see when it happens.

3 I actually notice more in Sub-T than I do in Shroud, and it very well COULD be my computer/internet connection. I might trying dropping my settings just a bit to find out. The one thing I do notice everywhere though recently is DPS lag; my damage numbers are scrolling for a second or so after I finish hitting whatever it is.

4 I don't want ANY of my guildies being permabanned thank you very much. I honestly would not be playing if it were not for them. I do believe he deserves a good Donut Forum Title though ;)

I will also take suggestion #4 from Redgar, more dragons is always good. I would not mind seeing an expansion of the monsters we see. Throw in some goblins in the low end, and more illithids at the top end...:D

Lol. You didn't hurt my feelings. If I was permabanned no one would fall off of stuff, or make fun of Slink inappropriately. Where is the fun in that? It would be like Hordo living though the entire quest. You would feel empty and hollow inside.

@Slink I got a lot of work issues this week. I will back to normal (as normal as I can) before to long. Until then bite me.

I would love to see random encounters in non quest areas. Like when the devil invasion happened in the market place. I remember being fairly new and casually wandering around in the market when I got jumped by a render heading towards the rusty nail. Being only lvl 3 or 4, I was dead before I even realized what was going on, but it was so neat to know you're never really safe no matter where you are!

Yah the game used to be suprising sometimes.

Mephits would appear randomly in meridia.
as said, renders in market.

If you search youtube, you can prolly find a link to the ingame wedding that took place few years back.
Titans spawned in house p, that was pretty cool stuff.
