NPC's Asking For You

I was in the Lordsmarch Bank and after putting stuff in my account I turned around to leave and the greeter Dwarf Pel Kundark was saying to other Players going by 'Excuse me are you Aias? I have a message for you.'

Is this just random 'talk' or am I suppose to do something special to identify myself to get a message? Tried clicking on her but all that did was default her to the stock greeting ... 'Welcome .... '

if you have the sharn syndicate adventure pack when you talk to her she reminds you that the quest entrance is on the side of the bank, and not the front

Not knowing about the Sharn, i always thought this was weird.

Dwarf: "Are you Brennie? I have a very important message for you!"

Me: "I am Brennie. What is so important?"

Dwarf: "Y'know... stuff. You catch the game last night? Was pretty intense."

Me: "No... I missed it... but you said something about an important message?"

Dwarf: "Oh yeah, that... uhm... what do you think of the new marketplace tent? kinda drafty lookin' if you ask me, but atleast it keeps the sun off your head when you're browsing for potions. My wife, she loves those Bears Endurance potions, y'know, for when we ar-"

OK that would make sense as I did pick up the Sharn pack, just haven't done any of them yet. I'm guessing if I have the bank quest active then I'd get the option to talk with her. Ok thanks.

I have seen other games where the NPC's random talk to you when you go near them. Makes it seem more alive. Of course you end up playing the game with your head on a swivel ...... what? who said that? talking to myself no no ..... that NPC's called my name .... honest it DID!!!!! No NO not the white I love me coat AGAIN!!!!!!

Maybe its just voices in your character's head? Are you sure it's an NPC?!?
