Bastard Sword glancing blows?

First of all: is this a fact or a myth? I couldn't find where this info came from, but it seems everyone has accepted it will happen. Does anyone know when Bastard Swords will start dealing glancing blows when single wielded or with shield?

Second: will the THF feat line affect the glancing blows on the Bastard Swords even when holding a shield?

I was about to say that the info eluded me in your post. I had thoroughly read it, but I must have skipped the info about bastard swords.

Bastard Swords
Bastard Swords when wielded as a Single Weapon or Sword and Shield will now produce Glancing blows on enemies around wielder. The glancing blows are increased by Two Handed Fighting Feat Chain and Enhancements that increase the effectiveness of them.

Dwarven Axes

Don't know about the rest of you, but i'm pretty stoked for this. Bastard swords could use a little more. Perhaps being treated as true 2 handed when equipped as such) as they require the feat for everyone, unlike dwarven axes which dwarves get free.
