......half hour longer than planned.

Is something on there being fixed? Bloody hope so. Last night doing a few BS desert runs at the part where you bear right towards the pyramid areas the rubber-banding got seriously bad.

Someone take a long look, losing players purely on a hardware issue is really stupid. :(

Really? I thought there was still another 25 odd minutes to go to when they said it would be back up?

J1NG is correct, by my calculations, Thelanis is not going to be up for the next 20 minutes or so. And by looking at how long it took for the maintenance - we might be facing an extra half an hour of downtime.

The Thelanis server will be brought down from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Eastern (-4 GMT) for a restart. All other servers will be available. Thanks for your patience, and we'll see you back in the game soon!

Hmm... well now I can't get the GMT or BST thing worked out and I live here :D

Maybe you're right on the time but I stand by the "Fix Thelanis" part.

Thelanis is always down for longer, and seemingly the only server besides Sarlona that is down unexpectedly more than once in a the last 4 months I've been here... Like 5 times to all the other servers combined being unexpectedly down once or twice.

Last night it was taking up to a minute for the auction house interface to respond to mouse input... Sometimes it simply didn't respond at all and several clicks were required... this was with a 130-160 ping (about 60ms more than normal) and no packet loss.

Thelanis was back up right on schedule. There was a problem, Turbine said they were taking the server down to restart it, and said when it'd be back up. It was back up on time.

This is good, folks. That's called responsive service.
