Trust me, man, us scroll pharmers would be glad to trade the scroll for a nice amount of scales. It's that scroll drop rate in desert quest is miserable (compared to VoNs). I've farmed rayium and first part of oob about 20 times each and I've gotten a whooping 4 scrolls total non of which are worth all that much and it requires considerably more time and resources than farmin the VoNs. If you're lucky, someone will get one and trade it :) Just gotta be patient with desert scrolls.
