hi all , im thinking of makeing a monk/rog/rang

How does the whole mana/ki thing work do i get an extra bar?

also a side question ,

I love playing monk and want to make a pure , would u reccomend unlocking WF ?

Yes, you'll have separate bars for ki and mana.

I'm not sure I would recommend WF for a monk, but it wouldn't be horrible.

I was wondering the same thing too , but According to the dps list , on a video a WF monk was one of the top DPS.

Also one more question soz , If I get powerattack and cleve , can i have them both active at once?

Power Attack is a toggle, a stance.
Cleave is a special attack. It doesn't 'turn on' you just use it.

1. The DPS difference between different monk races is small.
2. A WF monk can actually have less DPS against some kinds of enemies, particularly some epic ones with great AC.

despite the fact you lose out on wisdom which is monks main stat (and therefore some special abilities might not stick so well), WF are effective and a lot of fun for the class - their immunities to being held, level drained etc. combined with evasion, full save progression, extra healing amplification to mitigate the innate reduction (at lower levels your party's healers will be very grateful) & sheer speed means you'll have great survivability & dish out nice dps (not the highest except with a lot of item grinding & luck, but a good steady amount regardless of enemy fortification)...

oh, and as a WF you'll be able to get 100% fortification earlier than any other race since item-based fort stacks with the innate 25%.. meaning at 1st level you can have 50% if you find a light fort item (very common in brokers, and it'll make a huge difference) - by level 7 you can have 100%, or even level 5 if you're lucky enough to find a race restricted item, but they tend to go for very high prices in the AH

My main is a Pure Monk and he is WF. He's really fun to play. He is light side Wis/Dex Monk, and the WF have the negative to Wis, but it is only a small setback.
