Hello all,

Im a new(ish) player to DDO. I played way back in beta, played trial not long after during the P2P time, but i just started playing about a month ago since the game has gone F2P. I do play Warcraft still, and if you want to go all emo on me and spout anti-wow stuff, then move along. I did want another game to play that could fill the gaps that WoW does leave me though. I dabbled in Darkfall beta, played several month of Star Trek Online live, and even though i enjoyed it, it wasn't deep enough for me.

DDO filled both the need for me to have a more casual oriented game where i could log on for an hour or so and still feel like i accomplished something, and at the same time, not pay to much (to make my wife happier). I never played the PnP D&D, but have played every game associated with it, and know the rules pretty well.

Im looking for a casual guild with a medium to large player base that I can socialize with as I level up, run a few dungeons for favor, or maybe even PvP. Hardcore end game guilds need not bother here, when the time comes that I want to end game regularly ill find you.

Currently I have two Characters on THelanis, but one of them comes with a catch, my wife has to come along to.

Renier
Human, 4 Paladin, 1 Fighter
Set up for intimidate tanking, dps, not so much healing.

Kinslea
Human, 3 Bard
I only play this character when my wife is on hers. So you get a two for one here. Shes a 2 fighter, 1 rogue and is new to D&D. She enjoys it though.

Send me a message here or in game if you want to take me.

Hi, if you are ever looking to join a guild, my guild, Credendo Vides, is recruiting. We are a friendly, mid-size guild of about 85 people. We help our members level up and we run many guild runs during the week. We are a teaching guild to lower level characters. As our members level, they determine the course of our guild as they are doing now. This does not mean that we do not have direction and are chaotic in our actions. We have a nice friendly group and our players are very dependable teamwork oriented quest mates. We have several husband - wife teams as well as boyfriend - girlfriend teams. Our membership runs from people who have just started playing RPGs to people who played D&D in 1976 when it first started. In reading your post I was only concerned with one statement you made.... 'Hardcore end game guilds need not bother here, when the time comes that I want to end game regularly ill find you.' Does this mean you are looking for a temporary place only. Our guild is close and is almost like an extended family. It would be hard to have someone join, knowing they will leave soon for greener pastures. :) We like to think our pastures are green. But anyway I am teasing. Both you and your wife would be welcomed. Just ask for Holly or Alyssn to be invited to join :)
