Possibly coming back to the game..have a question on upgrading to VIP.

If I decide to upgrade, and I enter in my CC info for billing..does the monthly bill come out right away, or will it wait until the beginning of next month? I ask because I don't have enough funds right now, but I will next week so I'm wondering if I should wait or if I can do it now.

From memory, when I did it, it was there and then. This is also when your new billing month starts.

The money comes out up front for the upgrade to VIP. You pay for the month 'in advance', so to speak, rather than in arrears.

Under your DDO account there should be the option.

On the My Account page that was linked, you'll want to login with the same username and password you use to log into the game. Then scroll down to the red and gold DDO box, and click the "Get Unlimited Access" button. If you don't have a payment method entered, the system will prompt you to add one. If you do have one already in the system, you can chose to use that, or change the payment method.

If you're adding a new card, the system will do a $1.00 USD authorization hold. The subscription fee will be charged the next morning.
