Hey all, hope all is well in your gaming worlds, I just wanted to come here and share some cool information about the Legends guild that some of you DnD enthusiast might enjoy and don't know is available.

Legends guild has many activities and resources for Dungeons and Dragons enjoyment in DDO and out. There is a Vent server which everyone can talk live to each other outside of DDO voice system, it is fully paid for and no charge to you. There are different rooms if you want a private chat with a Guild buddy or you might enjoy the guilds conversation as a whole where more people in the main vent room congregate, it's up to you.

We also have a Pen and Paper 3.5 or 4.0 night soon to be nights, because we are getting more and more interest. You can either be a DM or a player, whichever you enjoy more. With the Vent server and with some awesome software we use where it actually rolls all DND dice, there is a battle map where you actually move virtual miniatures, it is like playing DND at home with your buddies. The DM can share maps and pictures of what you see and live Character Sheets which does all the math for you, everything a home pen and paper game has and more.

For DDO we also have a seperate sub Legends Permadeath guild which explores questing in DDO in a whole differnt way. I must say my heart beats a little faster when running our Perma Death toons and creates a sense of danger that regular DDO can't provide. If your character dies in a quest or in the wilds, he or she is dead, so every corner could be your last! Very close to pen and paper in my opinion the way we are doing it. So come join us for some pen and paper, Permadeath DDO and Regular DDO fun!

We have very good players in the guild, and we do from the lowest level quest to the Highest raids in the game with completions. All in all I think we offer a lot of DnD/DDO enjoyment, so come join the good times! check out the legends site at and post an application if you are interested in any of the Legends activities mentioned above.

Looks very interesting. I have never played PnP but sounds like fun( can I visit even if not a guild member? ;). If I can stop myself from dying I would love to try perma death. Anyways you are great bunch of guys and a free bump for you all.

Thanks Aussiee for the nice words and yes if you wanted to try one of our permadeath nights you would be welcome. Sign into our website (www.legends.republichost.com) and apply for a membership. I'll approve you for website access so you can look into our permadeath nights or just look me up in game.

I was a bit surprised at how much fun Permadeath really is. It gives us a chance to experience the game a bit more "slowly", and actually pay attention to the story lines associated with each quest. It is something new and different. When you have been playing as long as the Legends Members have, finding something "new and different" is a real treat.

Aussie, you are welcome to roll with us anytime and make a Permadeath Character and put it in the Legends PD guild which is a subset of the Legends guild, exploring DDO in a whole different way is a blast.

For the Pen and Paper group you would have to have one toon, not all in the Legends Guild. We would welcome you with open arms. I am happy to say we have picked up four new guild mates and a couple more new prospects that have turned in applications as of today and a big part of is was reading the posts about the Permadeath and Pen and paper so it appears to be a big success so far.

For the Permadeath We actually have one of our members Bukaroo read the quests out loud before we go in so we all know the storyline, I am impressed with DDO's writing staff, the quests are actually cool and tied in to the other quests, to bad , most of us just run in and zerg normally lol, it is a shame because the storylines are well written.

That is why this Permadeath is so much fun, We have to watch every step or we could die, so exploring is intense, challenging and fun. Your heart will skip a few beats a couple times I can promise you that :P

Our Permadeath characters start off poor, and only acquire items and gold through adventuring, we only get things from the dungeons we explore, we can't buy items or send them gifts from our other high level toons, and there are some other rules like that so we have to use limited resources, which makes it more challenging.

We play on Tuesday's and Thursday's, we only play for a few hours each session so it is not that time consuming and only like 3 or 4 quests each session, so leveling is not the priority here, it is to stay alive! hope to see you there :)
