View Full Version : Please Make Epic Raid Tokens Useful

I have tons of these that I will never use.
I, and many others are also approaching the point where we don't actually need anything that drops from the raids themselves besides tomes--but do need a ton of Dungeon Tokens as well as some scrolls, and harder to get seals in the Desert.

Which means there could possibly be less people raiding soon as we start to solely grind for tokens & scrolls, and raids could take longer to fill--which I think would be bad for all the new F2P people just hitting that content. I have watched even first come first serve Epic Raid LFMs take quite awhile to fill lately.

Make our Epic Raid Tokens worth something. ..
Sure the raids themselves are easy, but I think one ought to consider that each of these raids has a flag that takes some time as well.

Sure Id like to be able to trade even 20 for a scroll or seal of choice. . . but at this point I would settle for things like Hair Colors, Store Hats, experience elixers, etc.

I thought new Augment Crystals might be the best way to put a use to Raid tokens. How about adding the following Augment Crystals:


Red - Augment Crystal of Supreme Spellcasting
Cost: 20 Epic Raid Tokens
Effect: Superior Potency 6

(intended as a slot consolidation item)

Red - Augment Crystal of Frost
Cost: 20 Epic Raid Tokens
Effect: The augmented weapon gains Frost (1d6 cold damage per hit). This doesn't function if the weapon already has Frost.

Blue - Augment Crystal of Supreme Survival
Cost: 20 Epic Raid Tokens
Effect: +10 hp. Stacks with everything (including other Supreme Survival effects).

Yellow - Augment Crystal of Rapid Recovery
Cost: 20 Epic Raid Tokens
Effect: +10% healing amp. Stacks with everything.

Yellow - Augment Crystal of Healing
Cost: 20 Epic Raid Tokens
Effect: Gain Greater Devotion 8.

Would also like to see +2 dodge bonus (ala Chaosguards) to ac, +5 resistance instead of +4 (come on this stuff is supposed to be epic), +2 or even +3 exceptional stats make these really expensive like 35 and 50 epic raid tokens respectively.

Also could use them to trade for dungeon tokens 1 raid = 2 dungeon ( but not vice versa if the additional augments get added).

Could also use them for hearts of wood of all varieties.

Really good ideas here. If I'm going to be gear-juggling gaining small epic advantages should not result in unrecoverable losses - particularly on the +5/+4 resistance issue. And a +2 dodge would be good (would let me wear levick's bracers instead of chaos guarde) ; a truly epic +4 dodge that can stack with curent =1/2/3 dodge bonuses even better and would help with the ac is insignificant in epic issue.
