I'm sorry that it has come to this. I loved this game but there is a principle involved. Epic questing might be the only thing I really had left to do. I can't do that anymore with out knowing that Turbine will be accountable to the rewards for my time in the game. You've admitted that it was a bug on your end. Then make good on replacing what you lost. Its completely unreasonable for me to just accept turbine pts, when what i want to do is EPIC quest, and i really can't.
For more info on why (see here) (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=247800)
I know this might seem unreasonable to some of you. I see it there other way around. I'm sure i won't be missed that much to be honest. Hell all i did was solo anyway!
Thanks for the years of fun, just not fun now.

Yet another Vet leaves the game!
Agreed bro, I have 1 TR, and will never do another one.
My level 20s are so bored with the only thing left is "the grind"
And , and, and,
We asked for a higher cap with PREs' (got that ty) & we dont have the content to match!
Like I keep saying; GH & vale was the the GOOD content.
Level & class appropriate designed content,
I hope there is a solution coming from Turbine, or more VETs will be leaving.

Total Zoid Youtube views 20493. (and that only after they were moved from my own host)
Blip.tv views are indeterminable for what ever reason.
Might have brought a couple people to the game. Then again maybe not. Think i was one of the first using social media to promote the game.
Most are very old and won't be missed at all. I'm saving copies of my newer stuff for reminiscence of my own.
As far as my equipment is concerned. Any thing of any value will likely go to my good friend Caden to distribute or keep at his discretion. Most of it was bound and crafted on one way or another anyway. :(
Edit- I have a tonne of EPIC scrolls and seals to give away, i think all the seals i have might be bound (not sure). Good luck with those.

Thanks Ferd. I don't think that my quitting will amount to much at all. I know that there are better ways to spend my time at this stage. I applied for Mournlands. But just like my application for Alpha and beta I never got in. I had to convince someone to give me their beta account to continue playing from the first beta weekend (was lucky). I think someone up there in turbine control tower doesn't like me.
Such is the way of the world.
Love and light everyone. :)

Were I to invoke logic, however, logic clearly dictates that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Kirk: Or the one. ...
With so many new players......
Sad days indeed, Cheers

Sorry to see you go, but don't do anything rash like give away your stuff or delete toons. They'll sit there and wait patiently for your possible return.

Good advice Rumbaar. Who knows what might happen in the future, maybe i can sell Zoid back to the devs to be used as an NPC. Yah right!
I'm going to log in for one last look in the mail to see if house Orien found my lost tokens.
Thanks for the encouragement. :)

So very sorry to hear what happened and about your decision. With your videos, you've been an inspiration to a lot of us solo loot runners out there.
Wishing you all the best and hope it's not the last that Stormreach sees of you.

I appreciate that Jeromio. :)
I do feel it necessary to point out that I whole heartedly still feel that DDO is by far the best MMORPG out there. I imagine even WOW players with there 70 levels of grinding can run out of places to go and things to do. To be honest, when it comes to quality of dungeon building and all around game play, there aren't too many of us who would consider WOW to even hold up a candle to DDO.
The problem is that in Dungeons and Dragons (I've played PnP for 32 years now) we can all relate to how we envision our characters and what we imagine we want them to have and to become. Even in PnP during long geas questing campaigns that i've been involved in, that spanned 5 or more years, every one of them has to come to an end. Depending on how you and your DM corresponded and got along, your imagined out come for your character may or may not have been realized. I had a first edition ranger/Archer (NPC class from Dragon Magazine) I had played for 3 years. In the end I failed my constitution res check and *POOF* gone. Sucked for awhile. But man did I have a lot of fun. I didn't run out and stab my sister with a wooden sword (don't know if any of you remember that article).
In the case of DDO, for me at least, I have to say that Turbine has done very well. Very, very well. Considering every one they have to make happy. My primary character Zoid really has become the "GOD" I personally believe him to be. :P (sorry for the lack of humility) lol! But just like PnP when you run out of money to go buy new module what choice does a DM have. "Well I guess we could play Ravenloft one more time?" @#$%! GROAN! Most players would likely look for a new DM.
So the beauty of the situation is a bitter sweet one. Turbine, in my opinion you accomplished what you set out to do in emulating as accurately as possible, the game of Dungeons and Dragons. The fact that I really did get everything I imagined for my character in DDO is spectacular. I guess i really just wanted to suck all the marrow out of the bone, so to speak.
Turbine, I'm sorry I got angry. I really had a lot, and i mean a lot, of fun. *sniffle*
Love you all,
Zoid

Well I can't pass up the opportunity to thank you Magusrex. I think that might have been the most heartfelt thing i've ever wrote with regard to this game.
One day of retrospect after quitting and i'm a fine gentleman all over again. lol
