Way too complicated!
2 in game GM help requests, 40 mins on the phone, submitted to both http://www.ddo.com/ddosupport/forums-issues and
http://www.ddo.com/ddosupport/account-support

I received a message asking me to submit the problem again.
If this is meant to discourage people from attempting to receive illegitimate epic tokens then it is bull%$&#! The 2 tokens i'm missing are REAL! Don't they have records?

I can't waste any more time. Never been one to criticize this game too harshly. Mostly I fought to defend it.

(Then Zoid went inert. A fine layer of dust could be seen settling upon his tired body)

ok, here is some proof. Not that anyone was asking for it. :P But i can't understand why i'm not being helped on this issue.

look at the kill counts to see that there were 2 completions. Always wish i took better pictures.
Anyway, i'm done ranting. Just wish support would allow you to follow up on tickets. Doesn't make sense that we can't see the ones we've submitted. Would make it much less complicated. What is a "ticket" for, if not to hold or to mark somethings significance. I know i've submitted tickets, couldn't tell you anything else after i hit send. That needs to be fixed turbine.

Not to be a jerk, but your original ticket said you completed Wiz King on ELITE (not Epic) three times. That may have skewed it a little against you, BUT......

The response to your ticket clearly indicates that the GM knew what you were trying to say (Epic) - however, and this is why you aren't being helped - it is a KNOWN issue. They won't/can't do anything for you until they fix it for everyone (besides, it's a Saturday, and most of Turbine's personnel are gone over the weekend)

Just make sure that you save the ticket info (and screenshots), so when it is fixed, you can be properly credited your tokens.

(And, you don't have anything to craft according to your messages, so there is no hurry to get them back. Just have patience. :))

In all honesty, they should have records of what your toon had on him and what it didn't have on him after the disappearance took place. If they really don't have a save state type of system that flashes a save file of your character whenever you log on or off in case something does happen, then they need to get on this asap, as the disappearance of items has always plagued the game since DDO Stormreach.

And the policy has always been they dont replace lost items since ddo stormreach. Complaining about it then didn't help and guess what......nothing has changed just get used to it folks. **** happens

Also you may wanna cover up the GM's name in your chat screen. I think that's the forum policy anyway.

Sorry about your loss.

I see this as another reason not to bother going VIP. The in game support can rarely offer any credible support. So no loss there from being a premium player.

Nonsense. Calling this an example of a lack of credible support is absurd. It's a clearly stated policy that GMs will not replace lost items.

Just to be clear on my problem.

The "In game" GM help requests i have made (there have been several) regarding this issue are not what i'm actually referencing. I have also made 3 ticket support requests (only one this weekend, i'm fully aware that it is the weekend). You can't track your ticket, only support can. I've spent time on the phone with support as well on my own dime.

I've played this game completely, i'm not interested in starting a new character. I was satisfied to at least have "EPIC" (sorry for previous "elite" mistake) content to keep me satisfied and enjoying a game i love. The real problem is that for the last 3 months I have not been able to enjoy doing epic quests given the state of my previous efforts. Think about the fact that i have purchased all of the high and mid level content in the game with epic in mind and my issues become a little more relevant. (particularly as the newest content that supports EPIC doesn't have EPIC tokens at the end)

And the policy has always been they dont replace lost items since ddo stormreach. Complaining about it then didn't help and guess what......nothing has changed just get used to it folks. **** happens

I know that DDO has a poor history of returning things that get "lost". But in this case they have been returning that which has been lost to many others, and have stated that they WILL be returning EPIC tokens. Nearly everyone that i'm aware of with this problem has gotten theirs back.

I have received the reply from their "ticketed" web support, where you don't actually receive a ticket to reference, asking me to submit to the same places that i have already submitted to. Add that to the fact that i've spent literal hours trying to pursue a solution to this issue and I'm starting to lose my patience.

I'm beginning to feel like maybe i've been a thorn in the side of the devs and GMs with my exploiting of their game and they are done with me. If that is the case then i guess I will add my experience up as a loss and move on. For now I can't understand it.

Thanks for the discussion on this everyone. Im not intending to be difficult and I appreciate the input.

Hi Bradik. Technically, that first pic is just an in-game help request and not a support ticket anyway, but ya your right I was mixing up Elite and Epic. :P sorry.
The over the last 3 months that i have been waiting for a solution, I definitely wasn't really willing to EPIC quest very much. That has EVERYTHING to do with why i don't have anything EPIC to craft. I have nearly every menechentarun item, scroll and seal. Just not going to quest that way until i know this is working correctly for my account.

(additionally, now that i'm ranting again)
Another issue that has never been resolved is that my account is a founder account and i have never actually had a founder account on these forums. My previous guild has its name on the monument and no founder cred. No biggie there either i guess, I'll just put on my founders helm every now and then to feel a little better. :P

For the record i've been a part of these forums since before Alpha testing ever started and these forums were dissolved and redesigned, i've been a contributor since before the game was released with web sites that were community based such as ddosite.com (no longer around), Zoid solo loot vids and the freely distributed Stormreach PDF Map packs that i was making for this game.

I don't think that i'm normally someone who only likes to whine and complain, but i realize that is what am now doing and it sucks. I guess i don't feel appreciated as someone who has dedicated a lot of time, money and effort to support this game and thats ok, its a big game and i'm only a very small part of it. I guess i'm feeling sad as it seems that i've ran my course with this game and had hoped that would not have become the case eventually. As all good things go. Sorry i've been such a complainer.
Love and Light!

My account is premium. Its a head start and should be a founder account on these forums. I have founder helm, amulet but no forum status. Sorry i'm repeating that. Was participating since before Alpha testing.

Heres an update though. I just received notice from support that they are sorry and there is no way of getting back my tokens to me and that i should have already received them!

They don't know why i haven't and they gave me a code for 500 turbine pts.

Based on this premise i am going to quit playing permanently. How do i know if i quest for them i won't lose them again? Or any of Zoid's possessions for that matter. 500 turbine pts is not going to cut it in this case.

I really can't believe i have to quit.

You're right. There is clearly no other option. Especially since the game is free.

That said, can I have your stuff (before it all disappears?)

Were I to invoke logic, however, logic clearly dictates that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Kirk: Or the one. ...

With so many new players......

Sad days indeed, Cheers

Not at all free as you purchase all of the content in the game to help support it. Not at all. Was a paid subscriber for more than 3 years and i would say my spending never changed. Actually it might have increased. I always supported this game, intentionally, on a monetary level.

I have a free to pay account(premium) that has all of the mid-level and high level content available to it, even the Sentinels. (where Epic tokens won't even drop)

As far as my equipment is concerned its mostly bound and crafted.

Fail. No policy has ever been stated. Further we know that other items HAVE been replaced

True. I never got any decent support from in game GMs and I play from the start of the game. Just yesterday I had a problem with VoN flag. I completed the raid 3 days before and wanted to do it again but I could not. In game GM told me I need to do prereqs and I said I did them as I obviously had to to do the raid. Then he just quit on me. I opened another ticket to tell that I can not get anything from Marek and a Dwarf by the quest and he said I need to do VoN 3. Well, I did VoN 3 and opened another ticket because I still could not repeat the raid and he told me I need to do prereqs and that I will be reported for stalking because I am opening the same ticket all the time.
If morons like this work as GMs I am not surprised they are totally useless.
