You know what really grinds my gears? House D. House Denith has all these balistas in it and I dont get to fire off a single shot! I mean there they are just sitting there with giant bolts ready to be thrown in case Stormreach is ever attacked.......and I never get a chance to use them! How'bout this Dev boyz you make me a quest where i get to walk into House D as an incounter area with mephits flying all above and one big bad flying Hydrathinglikemonster. The object of this quest is simple, shoot down mephits and use a big bad balista to harpoon the big flying baddie reel him in like Jaws was on the line untill hes on the ground then let the melle whack on him till its dead, badda-bing baada-boom, save the city, loot the chests, get end reward, all in a days work for a hero like myself. Nows I hear yous been workng on some underwater-action combat. Now that sounds cool and all fellas but if I dont get to fight a giant squid or a Rock lobster ( A rock lobster is just your average freakishly huge lobster with barnicles covering its shell giving it dr10. Also happens to listen to the B-52's) you'll be geting another Grinds my Gears post from yours trully. To sum it up....I wanna use those giant bolt-thrower things in Hous D.

LOTRO has a skirmish quest where you are on a castle wall with waves of mobs coming at you and you get to fire big ballistas like that at the incoming mobs. Lemme tell you...VERY cool.

You know what else really Grinds my Gears...Barbarian rage. The fact that barbarian rage casts like a spell and can be interupted then yous gotta wait for the cooldown timer. Plus the casting time differs depending on what race you are. My Warfoge rages in half a secound or so and my dwarf takes lwhat seems like 3 full secounds. Plus you gotta "cast" Frenzy and Death frenzy every 60sec. Luckily those dont cant get interrupted but why do I gots to cast them anyway? Ya should be able to just turn them on and forget about it. ya shouldnt even get a choice to Frenzy or not Frenzy. when ya rage yous should just really rage out to the max with frenzy and death frenzy on for as long as yous are raged, and stay that way. I dont care care if it costs 450hps to perma-Frenzy or whatevea's clinking all those rages which all look alike in my buff-bar makes combat a real drag...and that grinds my gears.

I think the devs should create an AWESOME EPIC QUEST!1!.. it will take place in a tavern.. yeh!.. and there will be chairs positioned in random areas of the tavern (e.g. next to the bar).. One objective: everyone must sit down.

Then when everyone has, they all must get up again and walk around while music plays, however once the music stops they must sit down again but! the catch is, this time there is one less chair! And when someone fails to find a chair to sit in? They get eliminated. Then they do another round and the another and another... until there is only 1 person left.

Another thing that really Grinds My Gears are Epic quests. I love running the Desert quests. They've always been a few of my favorites. Unfortunetlly its not worth running them for seals or scrools. If your looking for those you just get a farm squad together and run dq1 for a few hours. You dont actually get to enjoy running the quests you just make sure you can stay awake wile farming. Noone ever wants to run Wizking or Chains because you can get way more scrolls and more seals just by farming. when it comes to tokens you can get three tokens doing von1-2 OOB in the same time it takes just to run to chains entrance. How about you let us buy scrolls, seals and shards with quest speific tokens from a random short list. Say you want this seal or scrool it costs X ammount of wizking tokens or X ammount of chains and tripple the ammount of VoN1-2 tokens. I dont know do something so i have a reason to play your quests and not farm them

Setup your hotkeys properly and you wont have this problem.

Another thing that grinds my gears....DQ1. Setting up two 6man groups to flag for a raid really Grinds my Gears. Its great we dont have to do the other 3 to flag for the raid but they could have gone all the way and done away with all the flagging.

Sentinels and the IQ quest, has the ship cannons, or whatever they might be, I would like to use those for some purpose.

Not a major battle, as I do not want a quest of SEA battles firing cannons, just a reason to stand on the shooting icon other than to just stand on it and watch the searing light go off.

I think they should have a quest in an explorer area, where you are walking through a forest, and a huge black knight appears and he is surounded by shorter but no less imposing black knights, and they all make a chittering NI sound, and they give you a quest where you have to go and collect multiple objects of fauna and come back and .. ohhh well maybe not.. but no silly ballista missions either. :P
