Are these 2 different games?

I bought a CD entitled: DDO Eberron Stormreach, but it turned out to be something different than this. The installer and game loader is very similar to this one, the cover shows quite the same things as this, but I couldn't not log in.

Then I had to download the unlimited version. Now i have a useless CD with a product key which i thought would give me some benefits here. (Yes, I was thinking that by buying it I would be a VIP at least for a month).

Can someone from high grounds enlighten me over this issue?

Stormreach was the original launch. At that time a subscription was required.

Eberron is what we're calling the game now that it has free play options.

A US Stormreach key will give you a month of VIP access. However, a European/Codemasters key will only give access to the European servers run by Codemasters. They do not currently have free play.

Go to myaccount.turbine.com to apply the CD key to your account. If you have a US CD key, you will get 1 month of VIP access. Login with your existing account first, then add the CD key. Pick the "add payment card later" option.

Note that using a CD key only works once per account.
