Simple Question on Premium Status

I just recently bought some turbine points (1200 tps); does that automatically qualify you as a premium player or is there other criteria you have to satisfy. If I do qualify, what type of benefits do you get as a premium player rather than the f2p ones? Who should I contact too?

Once you buy points you are a Premium Player. You get 4 slots instead of 2 per server and you get longer idle before the game logs you out. Not as long as VIP though. Anything else..... I forget! Oh, you also can sell more items in the AH and gold limits are removed. Turbine has a list of everything though on the buying points page or somewhere like that. Compares the three types of players.

Do you have to contact Turbine to initiate the change to Premium status? How come I still only have two slots per server. I just bought $19.50 worth of turbine points last week.

The changeover should have happened immediately. You're going to have to contact Turbine if there's a problem.

Any chance you have more than one account and didn't buy the points on the account you think you did? Did you actually GET the points (as in, you can see them to spend in the DDO store?) If not, perhaps the transaction didn't go through?

Actually I finally realize I do now have four accounts per server (28 total): I don't think I'll be able to use it up; maybe keep some temporary toons to grind for turbine points. By the way, after the time period someone said of 45 days, do you still keep those four slots per server? Do you get any adventure packs with this or is it just the slots and "no gold limit", "sell more on AH", these types of freebees?

Premium is permanent.
No packs, but you now have TP to spend on them.

You will find ways to use those extra slots, don't worry. VIPs get 10 slots and, for me, that just wasn't enough.

"non-free area" of the forum. Is this like those VIP rooms at the airport for the frequent flyers? Would have like it better if they give you a low cost adventure pack instead. I suppose the 4 slots are permanent then. Thank you Jasam, for pointing out the perks.
