Evasion splash

I'm planning on splashing 2 monk for evasion in the very near future.

My dilemma stems from worring about my reflex save, it will only be 23 self buffed.

I'm not worried about trap DCs AT ALL, the reason for the evasion will be for AoE mob damage.

I've tested CR20 Eldar fire elemental DC and this works fine for them, but at 20 I plan on running raids and Epic almost exclusivly.

What I'd really love to know is the Epic DC of the fire elementals at the beginning of Von4. If you know Vela's DCs on Epic that would be a plus.

Thanks in advance, I would test it myself but I'm just returning to the game and have no 20s yet in my stable.

But in all seriousness... What build are you looking at? Your self buffed saves are important, of course, but your group/raid buffed saves are going to be your real benchmark if you're running epics and raids exclusively anyway. What buffs are you counting into your 23, is basically my question, and what else can you add to that?

on topic:

The 23 only includes Haste, GH, feats, and Circle of hatred(+4). I could put the ritual on that +1 more, I don't have the gear space for a +5 res item. Perhaps on a DT docent but I'm shooting for Red dragon long term.

I refigued and I'll be at 27 self-buffed with GH, Haste, +4 item, and the ritual.

I forgot to add the 2 monk levels I'm thinking about adding.

This is a much better number and makes me feel like I should go for it, But If a lvl 20 could hit Von 4 epic and check the DCs that would be great.

Let's see. I have a Ref save of 12 @ level four (base of 4, Dex base of 18 [+4], Dex add of 6 [+3], Resist Cloak [1]) with only 1 buff (Cat's Grace).

So, with haste, Greater heroism, Prayer, that puts me close to Ref 20.

I have not done any Epic content but since I can get to 20 without much problem at 4th, I would think that Ref of 40+ would be needed for Epic.
