Beholder DR

Do beholders ever get DR that needs good to bypass it? I am wondering if it is worth it to add Icy burst to my +4 Ararchic Rapier of Greater Abberation Bane. Correct me if I am wrong, but they are lawful evil abberations.

On a related note, my +2 wounding Rapier of Chaotic Outsider Bane is not that good because Chaotic Outsiders need good or cold iron or both to bypass DR, right?

You really want to kill a Beholder as fast as possible, so anything you can do to make the ultimate weapon in doing so should be looked into.

For things like a Flesh Render, just grab your Holy Cold Iron Weapon I think it is and you should be fine.

Beholders do not have any kind of DR.

Chaotic Outsiders can...vary, depending on just what sort of a chaotic outsider this is.

Tharaak Hounds require /Law, either in the form of Axiomatic or True Law.
Mariliths, Flesh Renders, Fire Reavers, Ice Flensers need /Good+Cold Iron (yes, BOTH)
Hezrous need /Good
Eladrin (which are also Chaotic Outsiders) need /Evil or /Cold Iron
