Was running my monster build out in Aussiecerax Valley for Draconic runes, and I used the Draconic necklace to cast GH. As I have the Kensai Necklace and ring, when I removed the Kensai necklace, I lost 2 charges of Fighter Haste Boost and Power Surge. That dropped me down to 8. As I used the Ninja Spy necklace to throw an Invisiblity on myself after re-equipping the kensai necklace, I changed again..and proceeded to lose another 2 charges of the enhancements. I did what I needed to do, then returned to the tavern in the Refuge. After I reset in the tavern, I swapped in and out of the Kensai necklace, taking my charges all the way down to 0.

Is this a bug? It would seem that removing the necklace doesnt take into account how many enhancement charges you actually have. You can avoid it if you are aware of it, but could surprise someone.

I know its not a major bug or issue.......but I just thought Id put it out there so people know.

Known issue with kensai set necklace

I've never seen a developer respond to it even though it's one of the worst bugs and had it's share of threads dedicated to it. This is one of my top three annoyances with the game.

I've got a rogue with a lvl of barb so he has 1 rage per day - but with the encrusted set he gets an extra. The problem there is if I swap out any belt or ring I lose a rage each time which invalidates all of the useful ToD set clickies. I hesitate to give myself a GH from a gird or draconic neck. Can't use the jump clicky or cast dance on Panzy without losing rages. Need to pick a lock with mechanic set? Goodbye rages. Cartouche or chr ring for heal scrolls? I didn't want to rage anyways.

There's got to be a way to code this so that your total boosts don't fall below what you SHOULD have at that point.
