Price Check: Epic Red Dragonscale

In my experience, they drop pretty much the rate as large devil scales. The drop rate is slightly higher, the demand for them is less than large devil scales, wouldn't that mean they are worth pretty much the same as large devil scales? I have even traded for them before and the person not only did a 1:1 for devil scales, but for stones also.

This may have been correct the first couple weeks after epic vons came out, but not anymore. Red scales are now similar in value to large scales.

epic red scales are more rare than devil scales because you have to be level 20 to get one. that being said the question of 25 red > 25 scales is the one you want to answer if you plan on trading. for me the answer is NO.

what it all comes down to is that the red scale is worth what someone is willing to give you.

They're worth a lot because they are new - lots of people with deep (ingame) wallets that have been saving dozens of Shroud larges for ages want them.

Give it time, they'll fall further.
