So I did all the catacomb quests, up to Gerard's Crypt. I died a few times. So I'm here to recruit a super group so that we can do this!! If you're posting on this thread, then I assume that your a VIP, so I don't need to worry about your access to it. I'm willing to do these quests on any level, so just jump right in!! All welcome!

Actually, f2p players can post here too. (I'm f2p). You still need to check.

The catacombs series isnt that difficult.

Put up an LFM, take the first 5 that hit it. Go do the quest chain.

Its a fun series if ya take the time to read the dialog. One of the best in the game IMO, story wise at least.

FYI, that's a sure-fire way to get even more BS in yer thread.

Dark_Necro, the reason why the vets that post in this thread are being very random, is because you dont need a very powerful group of people to complete this particular series. As Impaqt has previously posted, just put up a lfm (via the O key if you didnt know) and take whoever comes in.

Wait, you don't think the Super Best Friends is a super-enough group? Well I think you should reconsider especially considering you want to do the Catacombs. Let me explain.

First, Jesus is in the Super Best Friends so even if you die, he can raise you which could be VERY handy in the Catacombs.

Second, if you click on the link in my first post, you'd know that Mohammed has "the power of fire" so considering you'll be fighting a LOT of undead in the Catacombs, he would be useful too.

Third, Buddha has "the power of invisibility" which just might get you past a few bad guys.

Fourth, I'm sure Krishna would have some useful power over light (maybe he could cast Searing Light and some other stuff) which could be useful against undead especially in a dark place.

I'm not sure Joseph Smith would be all that useful unless he brings his Golden Plates with him in which case Krishna might be able to bounce his Searing Lights off the plates and nail some undead from around a corner or something.

That would be a total of six people in your party (including you) which would be your limit. That's ok because I'm not sure what Lao Tzu or Sea Man would be able to bring to the table on your adventure anyway.

Well, I hope you'll reconsider my advice. I think you won't regret it.

Good luck!

There's dialogue?

More truth to your words than you might be aware of:
There is currently 0 (zero) dialogue on 2 (IIRC) of the quests, instead you just get a string error. Plus, trying to advance the quest line is bugged.
Tried it on multiple characters, same result. Submitted bug reports, hopefully it gets fixed soon (TM)

OP: I take it you're referring to the quest where you have to run all around the actual crypt, with tons of skellies/wights/ghouls popping up. It is indeed soloable, not even difficult at that, just gotta pay attention when to run past mobs, and when to beat 'em down.
Hint: skellie archers won't follow you :D

No, no, no. For any catacombs, this one would be "more Super".

But he dont have fat guy in silly mask to help in your group - and that essential for catacombs trip.

Oh, and Sea Man would provide a lot of unintended humour. That's always a plus to any group, imo.

Well, being a f2per, that option simply isn't available to me. :( I've hunted around for that button before before finding out that it's one of the limitations of staying free.

The only reason anyone pays $15/mo is not for content...it's to add to Arkat's greenis.
