Hello All,
House Bloodright was started back in headstart (we bugged, and so did not get added to the founder fountain).
At any rate, I spend from August 2006 until just recently more or less in Afghanistan. Now I am back. The guild is, at present, just me. I am interested in recruiting more people, but only people who like a certain playstyle.
Everyone plays the game for fun. Some zerg, some like RP, some are adult, etc. TO give anyone interested an idea of the play styles House Bloodright prefers, please read the following:
House Bloodright enjoys playing the game where a quest is an adventure. Traps are disabled (if there is a capable player). Optionals are completed (if reasonably possible). Zerging is generally not our playstyle.
We are not a perma-death guild, but deaths are generally avoided (I rarely die - even on my squishies), and we try to avoid over-extending ourselves (challenges are fine - and I prefer elite for the challenge - but some things are not reasonable on elite for many players).
Overall I know the game pretty well except for new content (new for me - as in beyond VON). I would like to invite like minded players to join up if it suits you. My time zone at the moment is GMT +6, and I am on at least a few times a week - and sometimes every night.
There are no guild meetings or requirements other than that you enjoy the same play styles, and that you are willing to be helpful to new or learning players. I try to avoid spoiling the 'new player' experience whenever possible.
Personally I do not like zerging. It is just not my playstyle, and I usually do not have time for RP myself - though it is welcome and accepted (I play my characters according to their styles - each is different).
I am a professional, have a full time (and sometimes more) job, and a lovely wife (no, I won't post a pic). My family comes first - which means my time mornings I am usually cooking breakfast for my lovely wife or saying goodbye to her as she goes to university. I travel at times, and so may be gone a few days in transit.
With that in mind, my play time is just as valuable to me as my family time. I'm hoping to get players with similar attitudes.
If you like to zerg, or zerg on your own, that is fine - but I do not want to waste anyone's time (mine included) - and I don't want to run a zerg guild. Playing DDO still has a bit of magic for me, and there are few things in life that manage to keep that spark. Maybe in a year or two I won't feel that way, but for now, I like it and I am happy. Hopefully any interested persons will feel the same way.
Please send Aeorn a message by mail in game, and I will be happy to add you.
Cheers,
- Aeorn Bloodright - House Bloodright
