Can I get credited for the bonus turbine points after the window... I'll give you 50 bucks for 6900 points, but there's no way I'd do it for 3700. If there were only a means for me to give you $$$ after M-F 9-5 EST business hours.....

Here's the deal... I am one of probably 3 or 4 people who play DDO while living in Japan.

I have a credit card with an APO AP address, and the fraud checking portion of the website and DDO store block all of my transactions because my billing area code and my physical location don't match. I'm OK with that.

Not OK with the phone support (the only way I can validate I am who I say I am) only being available during weekdays on the East Coast. I have a job, so staying up until 1am in the morning to call Turbine so I can give them my money seems a little absurd to me. As a business that caters to customers around the world, I would imagine that the majority of your players are online on the weekends more than they are on weekdays. What business sense does it make to not provide phone support during those peak "Business Hours".

I'm only one player... so $100 (I also tried two weeks ago with no luck) that you will likely be missing probably doesn't mean much... but there are other games out there that make it much easier for me to give them my money...

I submitted a ticket... and my hope will be that Turbine grants Service Members overseas a bit of a break, or at least a convenient means for us to give them our money.

Now I'll go wipe my eyes... and spend 50 bucks on a PS3 game instead.

Totally with you on this man. Though my problem is a bit different, it stems from the same general issues. Turbine makes it incredibly hard to give them money, and as you said one or two players won't matter to them, but still, it just seems so absurd to make it so hard to pay or subscribe. :/

Okay, so Turbine account support opens at noon Boston time, which is 1am in Japan. However, they close at 9:45am in your time zone. Perhaps you could try waking up a few minutes earlier in the morning? In addition, if you were to call on Saturday morning in your time zone, you would reach them on Friday night. I don't have that option.

I believe that Turbine account support hours are more convenient for Japan than they are for the pacific coast of north america. I leave for work two hours before they open, and usually get home at around the same time that they close for the day. If I leave work right on time and catch the first bus I see, I make it home with 15-20 minutes to spare before account support closes.

I had a similar problem DDO won't recognise credit cards from Aust .. But if you use a PAYPAL account that has been verified (linked to your bank accout) then it works fine
