View Full Version : Reduce raid timers for a price...

I would spend TP on a raid timer reduction.

100 points for a permanent 1 hour reduction on timers account wide would work for me ;)

Allow us to buy as many 1 hour reductions as we can afford and have them stack.

Bad idea. However, they could make a reduced timer a perk of being a VIP...

Extremely doubtful, especially not account wide, especially not that cheap. If anything, it's more likely it would be 100 TP for a temporary 1 hour reduction for a single character.

Might be potential there. "Pay X TPs for a temporary 4 hours reduction to one raid's timer*." Turbine could market it as "Friends are starting a raid, but you got still two more hours to wait? Use this new product! Only in the DDO Store."

At that point, it's more convenience than powerful.

*does not stack

This was suggested back when the DDO store had just been announced. At that time, I said it could be reasonable if for a small point cost immediately reduce all active raid timers by 24 hours, which couldn't apply more than once to a timer. But that might still cause problems.

I would pay more but only if it were permanent and account wide. I would never pay for a temporary reduction in raid timers. Maybe add it as a favor reward ..

Bad idea. Overkill - might as well eliminate the lucrative premium customers then. They could offer a permanent reduction in raid timers from turning in otherwise useless epic tokens...

I'd settle for everytime they run an xp weekend there where no raid timers at all, on the other hand I see the potential for making some revenue out of the ops proposed package.

I don't see much revenue at all. 100 TP is downright cheap. Take into consideration getting enough favor for 32 point builds would already grant you enough TP to purchase that 4 times. Take into consideration a single 2500 point purchase would let you cut short raid timers by 1 day. Compare with the cost of a single revive (siberys cake) which costs more than what the OP is proposing (125 TPs).
