Mass healing help

Just got to the level where I can use these and am confused about how they work.

What is the range? and does it matter who is the target. I usually just group with 1 or 2 other people and often the spell only effects 1 or 2 of us. This happens even when we're relatively close together.

How do I make sure it effects the entire party?

How do I make sure it effects the entire party?

Range is similar to most AEO buffs you have. It is a circle centred on whoever you have targetted. To learn the range find a friend, or a nice L1 hireline, set the focus on yourself and then just keep backing away and healing until you see your range limit.

If not in combat, call "gather on me for heal" before casting. Smart people gather, the rest don't need healing, you can pick up their stone later.

It's just going to take some time to get used to, but trust me, after a while you'll be able to target in a way that you won't hit that one idiot in your group on purpose. You may also want to invest a few AP into Divine Healing also. It helps at the beginning, and if you find you don't use it or like it, you can always just pay a little plat to repec it out later. Since it heals around corners and through walls, even if it's just a little bit, might help you guys out until you get used to the line of sight and grouping issues.

How to gather people for mass heals?

Type or say Gather on Xxxxxx for extended Haste. :)
People don't even think to look that the Cleric said it and it works every time.

I just tell them to stay within my healing circle. Then let natural selection take care of the rest.

Thanks for all the replies. Being a healing spell, I thought it was the same range as the other healing spells If it has the same range as the other mass aoe's, that is a very small radius. I wish it would display a graphic of the radius so party members would know when it gets cast and learn the range as well.

But, I know enough now to help me use it more effectively.

you can target someone accross the room and the circle will be centered on them. That's pretty powerful
