When you complete the ENTIRE zone, slayer/rare/explorer, throw us something. Right now, we do quests and get favor for Turbine Points. Possibly for Explorer throw us 5 turbine points. Explorer can be easy to achieve so not worth that much. Completing all the rares could be worth 10 points to 50 Turbine Points. Completing all of it, explorer+rares+slayer could be worth anywhere from 10 points to 100 points.
There is no point to do the slayer areas other than as a pass through.
Yes, The Orchard gives you tapestries. The gianthold gives you relics. The Desert gives you a chance at some rare named loot.
But as a F2P player I do NOT want to run any of those zones. I need favor for TP, not slayer for EXP.

We can't get points from everything, imho.

You want TP there are ways to get them easy enough. It shouldn't be a cake walk and you shouldn't get TP for everything.
Pretty soon people will want TP for just logging in.:( and that would make me a sad panda.

The great thing about F2P is that you don't have to buy those areas and run them. But I feel I would be remiss if I didn't tell you that if you don't run those three areas, you are missing not only some of the most fun content in the game, but also on some great loot (some of which is pretty close to being considered mandatory at a certain point.)
As far as TP for explorer zones, I think getting some TP for completing every rare, explorer and slayer wouldn't be so bad. Not TP for doing each one, but once you have done ALL of them and gotten ALL levels of slayer, a little TP wouldn't be a bad idea.

I'll go against the grain here and say sure, but only when you complete something.
So say 10 points for doing all the explorers, 25 points for doing all the rareas and 50 points for slayers.
Enjoy getting your 9000 kills in Gianthold or the Desert.
Since most people might only do rares and expolorers, thats a measley 35 points, even if you do all the explorer areas, that still won't get you much in the DDO store.

THis I can live with. I mean adjusted for level of Explorer Areas. I mean, the guys that will cash in will bethe ViPs with 5 million characters and the patience to do it.
Might fix the problem with new players coming into the Harbor at level 1 and wondering why they are not getting a group.

I'd suggest that you get favour points rather than turbine points, just give out an appropriate number of favour based on the number of quests in the zone, like for example 5 favour per quest.
Then divide the favour points between the various factions which have the quests in the explorer zone.
Example, if there are 2 coinlord quests and 1 twelve agents quest then you get 10 favour points with the coinlords and 5 with the twelve agents.

Or it could be factionless favour points (I call them now Wilderness). The problem would be to say what brings what amount of wilderness points. How about 2 wilderness points for every exploration, rare and for every step on the slayers? This Wilderness faction (which is no faction) could also have it own bonuses, like at 75 points the maps will not reset any longer and on 150 points you would gain +5% speed on wilderness maps.

I don't think we should get TP especially near as much as you guys are suggesting. Think about how you require 1000 favor to get +100 TP. TP isn't meant to be easy to earn.
However, i do agree that completion should give a reward. I presonally think a 30% Bonus of all natural exp earned in the wilderness (this excludes repeat rares). So if you earn 100K total exp you get a bonus +30K for completion.

I think there should be a reward for completing all of the Slayers, Rares and Explorer points in each wilderness area but only after all three parts are fully completed (or in the case of Waterworks, both parts).
I think a Favor reward would be reasonable, because that in turn will help you work towards TP, rather than just giving TP on its own.

I agree they should reward favor.

I'd like a reason for my lvl 20 to finish the slayer quests.
