Eardweller?

Posting this as I farm for the eardweller, couple of quick questions while the stormreaver kills the titan.

Is there a confirmed drop rate? (been running on leet)

Is there an established method for sorcs to solo? (have been nuking the boss with lightning, curious if anything is faster/works better)

Why does turbine torment me with loot that I have to solo farm for? :(

Lol, you are indeed correct. It is my own choice to farm for it, I still think it's lame that IF I CHOOSE to farm for it I will do it solo for fear of ninja looting.

Not sure of extact % for drops but there is no chance on casual and normal and elite's chance of droping it is double hards chance.

My personal method to taking care of the boss:


Cast Waves of Exhaustion
Cast an Extended Ray of Enfeeblement (scrolls may not cut it)
Use Divine Power off of an item
Ensure haste is on
Pull out Holy Heavy Picks, equipping a Seeker item is useful too if one is on your possession
Melee the now auto-crit boss


It may not be the fastest method if you have a low base STR or an abysmal will save (due to empathic feedback), but it gets the job done without worrying about running out of SP.
