What would be the best tactics for completing the Zawabi's Revenge raid if trying to do it with only three people? We have just about all types of characters available, only kind missing at the moment would be a pure sorcerer, which I suspect would be nice for maximum damage firewalls, but we have transfered from the Keeper server in Europe and none of us has yet begun to level a pure sorcerer, but have had fun with all kinds of other characters.
I am fairly certain that people have even done this raid as a duo, but I am curious to know what types of tactics that is being used for low manning this raid.

For three people, and no caster, my strategy would be to have:
1) Ranger - concentrate fire power on the queen. Runs around shooting queen at all times, even when the queen is on a faraway platforms. Uses evasion to evade blade barriers. Can self heal if necessary, but should be shooting arrows at queen non stop ideally. Needs a good bow and cold iron arrows.
2) Aggro Getter (Fighter/Paladin/etc) - takes aggro from the archers and efreetis. Kills efreetis.
3) Healer (FvS/Cleric) - heals aggro getter and ranger as needed, possibly backup damage on efreetis and queen via blade barriers or whatever other offensive spells he/she has.

1 intitank, 2 mages. intitank stays always on the middle, as soon as queen appears inti her and keep doing that (in shield block btw) while mages fry her.
Another option is the basic cleric way of spamming bbs and making her chasing the party while passing through them. The advantage is that this also works for the melee types that spam after some time - the above one will have to rely on the tank and mages to kill the mobs.

I would add to watch that one time she appears in the middle and all her spinning blades are there, I usually intim outside of that middle area.
Intim, caster, cleric sounds good to me.
Cast invis on all but intim and let him get aggro of archers, leave the archers alone then, intim/ac should not have an issue with them. He can range them to reacquire if needed.

normal hard elite is no problem with a caster lv17 and up ... and 1 intimitank with ac that isnt **** just have tank intim and shield block caster firewalls / heal scrolls self

1 high ac and/or high hitpoint melee to get her agro.
attack while healer types spam heal on the melee.
range and cast on her when she's out of the center.
collect loot 3 mins later.

a divine or arcane caster can solo her pretty easily, norm-> elite
a ranger doesnt have a very hard time either
a group with any of those should fare rather well

Thanks all for great answers. It has given us something to work with and we will have another crack at the raid.

Good job using the correct words "low manning" instead of how so many people say "short man".
To call it "short man" would be wrong because it implies you don't have enough people to adequately cover what needs to be done. When the (pre-epic) Laliat raid was endgame material the standard way to run it was with three players for three jobs, with any extra players providing faster DPS, resource sharing, or just redundancy in case someone screws up and dies.
The jobs were:
1. Damager: Kill the Queen Laliat, typically by a ranger shooting her with a holy bow. (Obviously bring some Cold Iron arrows). More rarely a mage or melee would do it.
2. Healer: Heal the damager, and sometimes anyone else who's hurt.
3. Tank: Keep the archers (and maybe efreeti) from shooting the other guys.
As for the efreeti, you can deal with them a few ways:
1. The tank kites them
2. The tank blocks them
3. Someone kills them (tank or damager or even healer, doesn't matter much)
However, it's actually no big deal to do the raid with even less than that. In fact, it's a decent test of a Ranger to ask him to solo the raid at level 11-13.

"Low Man's Lyric" is the eleventh song from Metallica's seventh studio album, ReLoad. It is a slow ballad following the likes of Nothing Else Matters and Mama Said. The song seems to be about a homeless heroin addict begging for forgiveness from his estranged family before he dies. It features Bernardo Bigalli on violin and David Miles on hurdy gurdy. It is one of the few Metallica songs (prior to the 2003 St. Anger) not to feature a guitar solo.
so yeah, bring heroin and no house. key to success.
