I recently played a few quests with some long time vets.
People who have supposedly been around since the beta.
They were leveling some TR characters and had the best gear.
I joined as a healer and it took a while for them to accept me so I guess they were checking me out on myddo.
They did not require much in the way of healing, but were angry with me because I did not top them off when they had only a small amount of health missing.
I was playing a heal bot/offensive caster with no fighting ability.
Should I heal everyone up to 100% when they are a good group?
I normally try to conserve my points by not over healing.
What do you guys think? I did have plenty of points to spare.

When I'm in a group that needs less healing, I play more offensive and throw some destruction, firestorm or GC around.
I don't see the need to heal every small scratch, and I don't like to heal more then necessary, especially in a good group, where I don't have to fear that anybody will be mush in one hit. Once they lost enough that I won't overheal with a small cure I might throw that out.
Without knowing specifics I would just comment that unless mid battle I won't "top" people off. At level 20, primarily using the Heal spell or Cure masses it doesn't make sense to waste the sp to top off a hundred or so pts when you can easily be more efficient just waiting till they get down to 50% or less and heal them to full.

Yep. I don't top off unless I'm bored/have enough spell points/feel like it.
A healer's for battle, not for passing out band-aids. Of course, if your main melee dps guy is missing 50% after a battle, you should heal him. If he's missing 5%? Don't.

Laugh like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WofqmWpXJZ8 then when you're through tell them to "suck pots".
When melee worries about 5% hp drop he should reroll.
