What are the best low-level (5-7) loot runs? I made some poor Gaming While Tired decisions and find myself in desperate need of a cash infusion. Any help?

Xorian Cypher makes an excellent loot run that can be completed in ~10 minutes or less with a good group.
Some valuable items that drop there are:
Planar Gird - AH price 1-2 million gold.
Chaosgardes - AH price 500,000 gold.
Reavers Ring - Not sure on the price there but is really good for low will save characters.
Have fun and gl

I would recommend deleras tomb. I always seem to get a couple decent pulls (and lots of vendor trash) from the delera chain, +great exp, great end rewards, and i have even seen poeple pull a portable hole out of one of the 3 end chests (wasnt me though :( )

Gwylans stand is pretty good, a lot of chests with a named item or two that is actually worth something.
Stormcleave is good, lots of chests there as well.
There isn't a ton of really good named loot at that level that will score you a ton of plat in one fell swoop, but as Elricken mentioned Xorian Cypher has a few named items that could do just that.
Problem is 5 - 7 is pretty low level for that quest as I usually see it run from 7 - 9. It can be a fast quest, but you need a group and unless you can carry everyone on your back it can get ugly fast in a bad pug.
I'd look for quests that you can solo or duo that has lot of chests where at least you can get some good vendor trash going. Decent xp as well because once you hit a little higher in terms of levels the plat becomes a lot easier to get as well.

Ridiculously easy loot run for very quick lowbie cash: The Depths of Despair in House D.
Enter, turn left, go to the end of the hallway, kill the earth elemental, jump over the spike traps, loot the chest, recall and regroup, repeat as you need. 6-7 chests in 5 minutes, good for a quick resupply of CMW wands on a lowbie.

I'd say the Sharn Syndicate, but I've usually soloed that through elite by level 5. When you are finally able to run it at level 2 it can't be beat as an easy way to get weapons that'll see you for several levels.
I usually play dual-wielding halflings and the nicked shortswords are really nice for the single-digit levels until you find or can afford better. I've also gotten most of my +5 Rogue assist items (search, spot, disable device), usable at low level, on the early quests in the chain.

If your looking to get a pile of plat, definently Xorian Cipher. Its not that difficult with a good group, and the drop rate for a gird or garde isnt that bad (probably around 10% to get one or the other). Gird easy 150k plat, garde easy 50-75k. Good luck =)

Here's another vote for Xorian Cipher.

Irestone Inlet can net you over 5 chests very quickly at level 4-5.
And muckbanes, from Durk's, sell almost instantly on the AH for 25k gold.

Tear of Dhakan is nice too...lotsa named loot and can make great XP and a quick buck.
But yeah Xorian is probably the biggest bang for you buck (timewise). Also durk has a secret can lead to muckbanes...not super rare, but they sell for a decent amount.

You can also farm Tangleroot collectable nodes for high priced (depending on server) fragrant drowshoods, silver hymnals, medium ebberon shards, and the occasional lightning-split soarwood. In the meantime, you will get good XP for your lvl and some decent loots, like +4 bound stat items long before you could get them elsewhere. Its soloable with the right class/player.

It's a few levels above the range you mentioned, but this is a good one that has a chance of dropping some named items that can get you some decent plat in the AH.
Bloodplate Armor
Cloak of Shadows
Fragment of the Silver Flame
Silver Longbow

For levels 5-7 I personaly recommend Gwylan's Stand , Halls of Shan-to-Kor, and Tear of Dhakaan. They can all be run fairly quickly with a decent group. Not only will you have a lot of chests to loot, you will also earn lots of experience. When you hit levels 7-9, hands down Xorian Cypher for Planar Girds and Chaosguard. You don;t even have to complete the quest..just be sure to have a rogue and a couple of firewall vendors. that quest can be ransacked in about an hour(10 runs).
Have fun and happy hunting!

While STK isn't that long with a competant group, you'd be hard pressed to find a competent group willing to run it at that level range. The loot is abysmal for levels 5-7. You'd be far better off sacking SC, where a decent group can finish it in 25 mins or less and grab 7 chests guaranteed (if someone has knock/or a rogue), plus 2 more random.

Note: I like tangleroot, but I think the items are +3.

Xorian Cypher is good, although drops are rare.
You can also run the last part of STK for a ring of FF. If you dont pick up the seal, you can run into the sewers and repeat just the last part.

another vote for xorian cipher (some nice named loot) & tear of dhakan (lots of potential named, particularly if you have a balanced party to get the optionals, and +1 tomes drop in there fairly often which can be useful for use or selling in the AH)

Thanks for the advice all. I did Delera with a hireling and Gwylans stand with a great PUG. Got some great loot and *bonus* scads of XP especially from Gwylans. Thanks for helping out!
