Hey everyone, been enjoying this Wiz/Rog WF of mine, and I'm desperately looking for solutions to boost my total SP pool for him.

Right now he has 683 Max SP, as far as my current equip goes I'll list it below.

I have a total of 28 Int (Started at 18 + 2 from level ups + 2 from enhancements + 2 from Tome, and +4 Item)

I then have a weapon that use when resting/zoning that gives me +90 SP. I got this to use up for my 'buffs' before I switch to my actual weapon.

Is there anything that I can currently get as this is my first char this high to help push my SP Pool higher than what it is at? I met a Bard the other day that was level 10 (Pure Bard) and he had a total of around 826 from what he said. I know I'm missing two Wizard levels right now, but I figure I should be able to at least match him somehow.

TIA for any advice.

That sounds about right for your level w/ 2 non-wizard levels. Get the mnemonic clicky from Korthos (+30-60 SP per rest), some mnemonic potions and maybe start hunting for the Spellstoring Ring. Not much else to do at level 10.

Which of course leaves me curious on how a Bard was able to achieve a much higher amount of SP, even if I had been pure Wiz I don't think I'd have been close to his amount of SP, heh.

Have you taken the Mental Toughness feat? That gives you 10sp + 5sp/level after level 1. There is also the Improved Mental Toughness feat after you take the first one.

You can squeeze another 10 sp's by finding a Pearl of Power X (Level 9).

If the bard was a spellsinger they get an extra 100 from the PrE. That plus Mental Toughness would probably do it. Don't worry, at level 20 with an archmagi item on you'll have over 1500 without even taking many enhancements or feats to make it better.

I've got the Mental Toughness, but not Improved Mental Toughness yet. Forgot to mention that. IMT is going to be one of the level 12 feats I will be getting (Will be Wizard 10 bonus feat, and the every 3rd level feat that I get at level 12).

My WF 18wiz/2rogue has 1979 sp. His Int is 34 and I have the ring of Thelis (150sp), and a tier 3 sp item from the shroud (150sp). With an archmagi item I'ed be a little over 2000 sp. not to bad in my opinion. If you take both lvls of rogue early it seems to sting your sp pool a little more at the earlier lvls, I think I did'nt take my 2nd rogue lvl till 16 to max my skill points. But don't worry it all works out in the end :)

Yah, I'm sure. Just running into a few issues with my SP pool running out a bit too early for my tastes even though I conserve a lot via the great swords I use.

I took the 2nd Rogue level early for Evasion, and it's already saved my life on numerous ocasions (I took the Insightful Reflexes, so it's very rare that a reflex spell does any damage to me). I team with a friend's Monk a lot, and I couldn't imagine trying to keep up without Evasion. We both just kind of walk through all of the AoE reflex spells that get thrown at us.

Also, now that you mention it, I bet that Bard was a Spell Singer actually. They were spamming Hold Persons left and right, which kind of made me see just how potent that spell is and I was hoping to be able to catch up a bit to their SP pool so I could do the same thing for teams. Sadly, it looks like I will just have to be patient and get some more levels.
