PnP vet new to DDO

Hello, Cannith! I'm new to DDO, but I played PnP for about 15 years. I stopped about 5 years ago due to being relocated to the other side of the country...

Anyway, after spending 4+ years in D&D withdrawal, DDO goes free to play, and the little voice inside me screamed like a tween girl meeting the Jonas Brothers. So, I forked over a few bucks, bought a monk right off the bat, (my half-celestial human monk lasted me 8 years in PnP), and soloed up to 4th level. Next, I bought the veteran character status, because creating characters was half the fun for me.

Now, I'm looking for some folks to expand my experiences in DDO. If anyone knows of a relatively newb-friendly guild, lemme know!

Hiyas Morvidus! Welcome to DDO. Please consider the Doom Brigade if you are looking for a newb-friendly guild to join. DB is a non-zerging, lite-RP guild with over 50 players currently handling over 200 characters. We are worldwide, with members throughout Europe and Asia as well as the USA, so there is almost always people on to quest with, chat with, and learn from. We don't mind if you want to tweak your character to maximum potential (we have some REALLY good players for that) or just play casual for fun. Recently, we opted to expand into becoming Cannith's first large-scale PermaDeath guild, with about 20-25% of our players making PD characters.

Because its a differnt game, SOE has several games and when I played swg I could only post on the SWG fourms not either everquest one and thats how it should be only someone playing a certain game should really be able to post there. But anyways welcome to the game I sure you will have a lot o fun.
