Quick question about equipment

I was wondering and just want to make sure before I end up doing something I regret.

Do equipment's that have the same effect stack(one's that don't have warnings), in my case a wise necklace that gives Wisdom +1, if I were to equip a ring that also had Wisdom +1 would that stack with the necklace or would it be a waste, from what I see it doesn't but if those don't stack would for example Power I stack with a Power II/III ?

Only the highest increase will apply. They do not stack, also, if you eat a +1 tome, then another +1 tome of the same stat it will not continue to increase said stat.You could eat a +2 tome, but only the highest tome will apply to base stat number.

Another example: If you are wearing armor ( +1 full plate) and try to equip armored bracers( +1 armor bonus) this also will not stack. The armor bonus from bracers will stack with robes or cloth though.

Numeric bonuses usually have a keyword. Bonuses with the same keyword don't stack. Bonuses without keywords stack with everything, including each other. For example:

An enhancement bonus from one item won't stack with an enhancement bonus from another item.
An enhancement bonus from an item won't stack with an enhancement bonus from a spell, either.
An enhancement bonus will stack with a morale bonus.
An enhancement bonus will stack with a bonus that doesn't have a keyword.


One big exception: dodge bonuses to your AC stack, except when they both come from items and they're the same size.

Multiple benefits from the same family of magical property, like Power and False Life, don't stack either.

The armor bonus from bracers will stack with robes or cloth though.
That's not a good example. Robes don't give any kind of armor bonus by default. Any AC they do give will come from a magical property, so it varies on a case by case basis. If the property gives an "armor bonus", it won't stack with the bracers. If it's a different type of AC bonus, it will.

That's not a good example. Robes don't give an armor bonus. There's nothing for the bracers to stack or not-stack with.
Some do. The Vulkoorim Dervish Robe (http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s220/jgould2005/DDO/Items/Robes/VulkoorimDervishRobe.jpg) with +4 armor bonus comes to mind.
