Greater reincarnation question

I made a 28-point character, and I've read that using greater reincarnation can "upgrade" him to 32-point while keeping the current level of exp. Ie. without needing to reroll or restart.

Questions:
#1: I have 1 level in fighter as well as my levels in rogue. Will that be preserved?
#2: What actually happens when you have the item, hand it in and start the reincarnation process? eg. is it just like the level-up process but with all your stats/skills/feats refunded?

First off you keep all your items, and all your xp.

What basically happens is you are placed naked on an airship and a trainer there will give you back the xp one level at a time and let you level up as normal. If you take a basic GR heart, you will not be able to change any levels, you will relevel in the classes you picked before, except as you say now with more stat points and the ability to choose different feats/skills. If you picked a +1 heart then you will be able to change what you took at 1 level. At the end of the process you will be able to redo your enhancements and get your equipment back.

There is no 'undo' in this process... read carefully as you go.

OKay this is probably going to be the most " noobish " question you guys have ever heard but, how do I start a thread? I mean I can make posts and all but how do I start a thread? Thanks for the reply's much appreciated

The +1 lesser will let you change one level not the first level, so if you took fighter at three and did not want it you can change it then.
