Are turbine points ever on sale?

Does anyone know if Turbine ever make their turbine points on sale, like they do with certain items (adventure packs) etc? Does it come during the holidays or is it pretty random? Thanks.

Short answer. Yes. you just missed one of their best deals on points also.

They add Bonus Points onto them for the 'sales.'

The price doesn't change, but the amount of points you get for X price can.

They indeed recently had a sale type thing running and added bonus points to every purchase, but instead of downgrading again they simply kept it at the current level.
Doubt they´ll go up again soon.

Also there was a winter turbine bonus for normal VIP subscribers. Hope that one returns, one never knows.
