Stalwart Defender WF fighter

I'm looking to roll up a WF fighter, seeing as how it's my belief that Ogres will be the new "reserve" race for barbarians.
I want to go defense defense defense, mainly because it's usually DPS,DPS,DPS. So, Im looking for Maximum DR/AC. Can you suggest me a build (stats/feats/skills/enhancements). Thanks a lot :)

Would like it to be "epic ready" if possible on a stalwart.

Well, here is the thing, even an AC focused character needs to crank his DPS. Often you will need to hate tank, and the only way to do that is to do enough damage.

So I'd say build for THF, take your feats like a more traditional fighter with the inclusion of Combat Expertise and Dodge at the very least, and then go to town.

You'd use a two hander for average combat, sword and board in those instances you need the extra AC/DR. Between your WF damage enhancements, fighter feats (Focus/Expertise), Power attack, and fighter enhancements for damage you should beable to hate tank effectively while still switching into defensive mode (Combat Expertise + Shield) to drop back into a traditional tank role.

I'll let one of the more experienced tanker folks break down things into numbers and raw data for you, but that is the general aim I would personally head with. Center on defense, but don't forget offense.

Be aware that playing as an intimi-tank on Epic is going to require a lot of grinding. The build itself is the easy part. Getting the right gear is what will consume most of your time (in addition to multiple reincarnations if you really want to optimize the build).
