View Full Version : Paying VIP Customer Still at Premium

For the last couple of weeks I have been downgraded to Premium from VIP. I have updated my cc info just in case but still do not have my VIP account back. I have sent several tickets and gotten no response, and the problem still exists.

I am now officially angry. Does anyone have any idea how to get any kind of response from customer service? At this point, if I cant get this resolved in the next day or so, I am going to need to stop my cc payment and move to another game.

Very disappointing.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I would have thought they would have this resolved by now. Pretty sad if you ask me.

I saw that they were having issues, I'm just glad it hasn't effected me.....yet.

Would you be willing to provide some more information? So, you were subscribing, did you have a monthly sub taken out and THEN lose your VIP status? So, are you currently paying for a VIP account you aren't getting? Or was it more a matter of the card being expired or whatever so your monthly sub DIDN'T get processed, thereby moving you down to premium? If that's the case, couldn't you just resub?

I was and according to my account still am month to month.

I am not sure if there was a problem with the card initially since it is not expired or maxed out. Just in case, I paid it down and resubmitted my info. When that did not work I tried logging in an out a few times. I then gave it a couple days just in case there was some kind of payment or account conversion lag. I then sent off a ticket and have done so every other day for the last week.

Coming to the forums seemed like the thing to do before giving up and walking away.

@Zero - What is "the link of the day" you mentioned? I have contacted account support but do not know how to contact Tarrant or Toledo personally through the system.

Link of the day is in my signature (the account support one), but I see you've already sent in a ticket. Due to some of the issues we experienced last week the queue is a little backed up, but I assure you we'll get to it. Sorry for the issue!

Okay, so why can't you just resubscribe? I guess I'm missing something here. Instead of submitting a ticket, can't you just resub?

Wow, I certainly hope you are not getting charged for the time that you are not getting the service you are subscribed for.

Have you looked at your checking account or credit card statement to see if you were billed for the month you got downgraded to premium? I'd check that while waiting for a response. if you haven't, then you should be good if you cancel and resub.

It happened to me a few days ago!
I ranted about it, and got the usual replies from the experts here!
Yes I submitted a ticket, and have heard from several Turbine employees (TY):)
The issue is being fixed one by one. I guess!:confused:

I will give it another day. If I get reimbursed for the time and TP, no harm, no foul.

I had thought when I got the reply from Tarrant that my problem was close to being resolved. At least it made me give the game a few more days to get things straightenid out. However days later, there has still been no word from customer support, no resolution to the problem, and no information on how long it will take cust serv to get to me.

I get it... because of recent problems you are swamped. Even so, the ball is really being dropped here. Someone needs to tell me something I can take to the bank, or my bank will be taken elsewhere.
