Double Weapons

Does it matter for a twf if you have two banishing (or smiting, etc.) weapons? Does it double the chance of having said effect? Is it worth it or is it better to use one of these weapons and something else? Thanks.

Each weapon would be proc'ing seprately, whether it was with slaying, paralysing, flaming, or anything. I don't know if this would "double" the chance, that math is way to complicated for me. And whether or not it's "worth" it would depend on the player I think. I haven't gotten anything of slaying or banishing yet, but I do have a paralysing and at least for this effect, I only want 1 of my weapons to have that effect because it procs plenty often for me as is.

Assuming you have the TWF feats to avoid a huge to-hit penalty and get extra off-hand attacks, then yes you are more likely to land the effect since each attack gets its own chance.
