View Full Version : I subsribed one week ago, still no VIP points

I subscribed on the 7th of April to VIP status. I still have not yet received my 500 VIP points or my bonus 500 for subscribing before the 11th of April.
I have sent 2 emails using the account management form provided in this thread but have not received a reply.
Is there anywhere else I can go to make this happen or is there a waiting period?
Please do not tell me to phone them, I live in South Africa and a call will cost me almost the same as one month worth of subscription.

This is actually an interesting question. The common FAQ page indicates a 48 hours wait time for points to be credited. I re-subbed on 4/9, and have yet to receive either the standard monthly or the bonus.
After waiting the requisite 48 hours, I sent off an email to account support, realizing a one week delay would likely happen. On a lark, I called account support not 10 mins ago......
Verified everything, was told that the usual VIP points would "take another couple of days" and the bonus TP "would issued in a week or so". That's not acceptable. I can get it if the bonus TP program or whatever is having issues. That's fine. The 500 TP for subbing should credited within those 48 hours, not some random amount of time (it's been over 120 hours) My cc company had no issue crediting YOU the sub fee instantly.

Same issue here. I still don't have any tp from resubbing this month. :(

The part that amazes me, is that there is no consistency. Some people call and get their points right away, others don't.

Most players are properly getting VIP points most of the time. Any changes made by the Account Management department depend specifically on the account in question.
I've actually just posted a sticky (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=243342)about an issue regarding VIP points that affected some players here. For your convenience I'm including the information below:
There was an issue from 4/4 - 4/12 where some players didn't get their VIP points as scheduled. We have fixed the underlying cause, and taken steps to ensure it won't happen again.
We'll be fixing this for the affected players by the end of this week by manually adding all VIP points that weren't automatically granted. I will be updating this sticky once the points have been granted.
If you don't have your points by Monday, 4/19 then please contact the Account Management department.
